AI and credits

Where AI is used in Gensy, what each action costs in credits, how many monthly AI credits each plan includes and what happens when they run out.

AI is used in several places in the app. Paid AI features draw from the same monthly credit quota, specific to each workspace and reset on the 1st of each month at midnight UTC: unused credits don’t carry over. AI features aren’t included in the Free plan, except starting from your current signature, offered in a new workspace.

What each action costs

  • Editor assistant — from 5 credits per message, depending on the template’s size; the input field shows the exact price before you send.
  • Paste a text (create a profile from a signature) — 3 credits.
  • Suggest fields from a CSV or text — 3 credits.
  • AI Spell Check in data cleanup (Also check the spelling, or Clean this record) — 3 credits.
  • Uniform team photo (owner and admins) — 50 credits per photo.
  • Starting from your current signature — no credits, as long as the workspace has no template (eight tries a day).
  • Suggestions on the dashboard and cleanup rules — no credits.

Each button shows its cost, never the balance. The balance is shown in the dashboard’s Plan card and, for the owner, in Settings → Billing.

Credits by plan

Starter 1,000, Essential 2,000, Professional 4,500, Business 8,000, Enterprise 15,000 credits per month. 1,000 credits is, for example, 20 uniform photos, or about 90 editor assistant messages on an ordinary signature (11 credits per message), up to 200 on a light one.

The editor assistant

Type or dictate the change in the editor’s Assistant tab (dictation works in Chrome, Edge and Safari, not Firefox): the input box stays at the bottom and the conversation thread scrolls above it. Each change appears on the canvas and can be undone in one click.

The help assistant

The Help & support button opens an assistant that answers from the documentation: 10 questions per day per person, across all workspaces, with no credits used. Available from the Starter plan up (on the Free plan, you can still write to the team directly). When the question matches an operation — making photos uniform, cleaning up profiles, deploying or updating signatures — it offers an “I can do this for you” card, with the number of items and the cost. Start opens the prepared operation on the page; nothing is applied until you click, and the assistant never deletes anything.

Undoing an AI action

AI actions that write to the workspace are added to the assistant history: My account → Help & support → AI assistant tab (the workspace’s 8 latest actions). Undo reverses them as long as nothing has been changed on top of them. A very large action (over 500 corrections, over 200 photos or a very heavy template) can’t be undone.

When the quota runs out

The badge shows “used up this month” and links to Settings → Billing (visible to the owner). AI features resume on the 1st of the following month, or as soon as the plan is upgraded; the free cleanup rules still apply.
