Website privacy policy

What the gensy.email website collects when you visit it, why, and what you can request. This English version is provided for convenience; if it differs from the French version, the French version prevails.

1. Scope

This policy applies only to the gensy.email website: the public pages, the documentation and the contact form. Use of the app.gensy.email application is governed by the app privacy policy.

The website is operated by Agence Hélium Inc. (NEQ 1177643112), Québec (Québec) G2K 0H7.

2. What we collect

• Contact form: your name, your organization, your email, the number of employees, the subject and your message. You provide this information yourself, and only if you write to us.
• Technical data: as with any website, our providers receive your IP address, your browser and the page requested in order to display the website and protect it.

If you accept audience measurement cookies, Google Analytics also collects browsing data (see section 4). We do not collect any sensitive information through the website.

3. Why

To respond to your request (question, quote, migration or exercise of a right), to ensure the operation and security of the website and, with your consent, to understand how the website is used so we can improve it. We do not sell your information, do not use it for advertising purposes and do not add you to any mailing list without your consent.

4. Cookies and audience measurement

The site uses no advertising cookies. Essential cookies, always on: fs-consent (your cookie choice, 12 months, Finsweet Consent Pro) and _cfuvid (abuse protection, Cloudflare, session). Only with your consent, we use Google Analytics to measure traffic: pages viewed, where visits come from, device and browser type. Its cookies, _ga and _ga_DREZDXH06Q (2 years), are set only after you agree in the consent banner, and you can withdraw your consent at any time with the cookie preferences button at the bottom of the screen. Google Analytics data is kept for at most 14 months in our account. To learn how Google uses this data: policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites. Declining does not prevent you from using the site. The contact form is protected by Cloudflare Turnstile, which receives technical data (IP address, browser) to tell people from bots. Fonts (Google Fonts) and some display libraries (jsDelivr) are loaded from those services, which receive your IP address to deliver the files.

5. Hosting and retention

The website and contact form messages are hosted by Webflow in the United States. Audience measurement data is processed by Google, including in the United States. Your information may therefore be disclosed outside Quebec; these disclosures are governed in accordance with Quebec’s Law 25.

Form messages are kept for 24 months after our last exchange, then deleted.

6. Your rights

You may request access to your information, its rectification or its destruction, and withdraw your consent at any time. We respond within 30 days. If you are not satisfied with our response, you may contact the Commission d’accès à l’information du Québec.
